Our Crowdfunding Intermediary application remains under SEC review. Until it is granted, GoldPool cannot accept public investor funds and the waitlist collects expressions of interest only. We will post here the day that changes — no earlier, and with no hedging.

Gold Exchange concept published

We have published the Phase 2 Gold Exchange concept along with a working sandbox, so members can see how tokenised trading would function. It is a concept only — launch depends on a VASP Act 1154 classification opinion that is still unresolved.

How conservative are the assay assumptions at procurement?
Pool prospectuses quote an expected return before the parcel is assayed. I would like to understand how much headroom is built into that number, and what happens to my share if a parcel comes back below the modelled purity.

Starting at $50 — is it worth it, honestly?
The $12 monthly vaulting fee is a meaningful proportion of a $50 position. Am I better off waiting until I can put in $500, or does the Founding Member waiver change that maths for the first three months?

My certificate lists MinCom concession MC-WR-0442. Is there a public Minerals Commission register where I can confirm that licence is current, or does verification have to go through GoldPool?

How we behave here

Short, and enforced. This is a space where people discuss money, so the standard is higher than a normal forum.

No investment advice
Share your reasoning and your experience. Do not tell another member what they should do with their money — none of us know their circumstances, and in Ghana that activity is regulated.

No guaranteed returns, ever
Anyone promising a certain outcome is either mistaken or lying. Past pool performance does not predict future cycles, and capital is genuinely at risk.

Challenge us in public
Hard questions about fees, risk, or licensing belong in the open feed, not in private messages. If an answer is uncomfortable, it still gets posted.

Protect your own details
Never post account numbers, wallet references, certificate tokens, or ID documents. GoldPool staff will never ask you for a password or a one-time code.

No soliciting
Do not use the community to promote other investment schemes, recruit for referral programmes, or approach members with unrelated offers.

Respect across the diaspora
Members are in Accra, Kumasi, London, Toronto, and New York, with very different starting capital. A $50 investor gets the same courtesy as a $50,000 one.
